My desire to make Kenny Source began not too long ago in November of 2007. I had been searching for some really good Kenny Chesney fansites but I couldn't find any really good sites... So I decided to make one myself!

Of course I had no experience what-so-ever with designing a website. So I decided to just research it more and get some help. I first began with a Romeo & Juliet website I was making for a Literature class... To tell you the truth, the site sucked. Everybody thought it was amazing and what not but it REALLY sucked! lol. They were all probably just trying to be nice! lol.

After a month or so I still had no idea what I was doing... Until I met Brian, the guy who owns Melinda Fans (one of our affiliates)! He offered to make me a layout for free! So I said yes... Then once he made it, I asked him if he could help me with building the site... Because I had no clue how. He kindly said he would help me.

Brian made the layout for me, coded it, and helped build up the site. Once he did all of that, I started putting all of the content on the site! The site was ah-mazing (in my opinion)... I had finally finished the whole site. I was soooo happy that I had accomplished something like this! lol. About a month later, for some reason, the site and all of my content was gone. I don't know how it happened but it did.

After I figured out all of the content was gone, I was furious!! I had put a lot of hard work into making the site and all of it was gone. I just accepted that it was gone and then I re-made the site. It took me awhile to re-make it but I did.

After re-making the site, I started looking for somebody to host me... But nobody would take my site. I had no clue why they wouldn't host my site. To tell you the truth, I still don't know why nobody would host my site. I thought my site was pretty good... So I just kept with Freewebs.

After about a month of the remodel of the site, I applied to be a hostee at The Fansites Network and to my suprise, they accepted my site!!

After I Gertie, my wonderful host, sent me a confirmation email with all of the stuff I need to know, I started transfering all of my information over to her servers. I had a subdomain for quite awhile... Until I applied to have my own domain. Gertie kindly bought the domain www.kenny-source.com for me because I didn't have the money! Thanks Gertie!

Now look at us! We are recieving more and more traffic week after week!
